RIITE Has a number of committees that are eager for more volunteers to help serve the transportation engineering community. Volunteering in these committees are a great way for young engineers to become more involved in the engineering community and network with other transportation engineering professionals on a more direct basis. RIITE currently offers the following committees:

  • Membership Committee: Focused on providing new initiatives to engage current members and attract new members. Chair: Emily Buck
  • Roundabout Task Force: This group’s aim is to provide consistent guidance and technical resources for the design and construction of new roundabouts in Rhode Island. Chair: Joe Frawley
  • Student Chapter Committee: Focused on engaging current students that may be interested in pursuing a transportation engineering career. Chairs: Kayla Cabral & Dan Waugh
  • Website Management Committee: Have a flair for writing or social media? This may be the place for you. Chair: Francisco Lovera
